About Us

Electrobotics started in 2019 originally as Starbots.  But, the team has undergone lots of changes.  During COVID, many teams ended, but kids still wanted to be on a robotics team.  We have picked up new members from this and offered opportunities for others nearly every year to join our team. 

 

Ever since their rookie season, Electrobotics has been a part of the winning alliance at the State championship. In addition, they qualified for the world's tournament in 2023.

Electrobotics uses creative thinking, team collaboration, and strategic research to put together a unique robot. Electrobotics has had a great journey and great memories throughout our time in First Tech Challenge program.

In their last year as a team, we decided to try and gain experience in VEX robotics. We wanted to learn new systems like pneumatic and wanted to gain exposure to C++ code (VEX uses C++, while FTC uses Java). Overall, most of us just wanted to try a new challenge.
